Motologic Systems ("we", "us", "our") built the Tamaraw POS application (web and mobile) as a free tool. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use Tamaraw POS.
Local Data: All business data you enter — products, sales, customers, inventory, expenses — is stored exclusively on your device using local browser storage (IndexedDB / SQLite via WebAssembly). This data never leaves your device unless you choose to back it up.
Google Sign-In (Optional): If you choose to sign in with Google for Drive backup, we receive your Google account name and email address solely to identify your backup folder. We do not store this information on our servers.
Google Drive Backup (Optional): If you enable backup, your data is written to a private folder in your own Google Drive account using the drive.file scope. We can only access files created by Tamaraw POS in your Drive — nothing else.
Your data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for the security of your device. If you use Google Drive backup, the data is protected by Google's security and encryption.
Tamaraw POS is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date.
