These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Pomodoro + Goal ("the App"), a free web-based productivity tool developed by Motologic Systems ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Pomodoro + Goal is a free, web-based focus timer and goal tracker available at pomodoro-101.web.app/app. The App implements the Pomodoro Technique — 25-minute focused work sessions followed by short breaks — combined with goal tracking to help you achieve more.
2. License & Usage
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to use Pomodoro + Goal. This license is:
- Free: The App is provided at no cost. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or hidden fees.
- Personal: The license is for your personal, educational, or professional productivity use.
- Web-Based: The App runs in your web browser and requires no installation.
3. No Account Required
Pomodoro + Goal does not require account creation, login, or any personal information. All settings and session data are stored locally in your browser.
4. Your Data
- All data (timer settings, goals, session history) is stored in your browser's local storage
- We cannot access, recover, or back up your data — it exists only on your device
- Clearing your browser data will permanently delete all App data

5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the App
- Redistribute or commercially exploit the App
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
6. Availability
- The App is provided as a web application and is accessible from any modern browser
- We do not guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted availability
- After initial page load, the App works offline in your browser
- We may update or modify the App at any time without prior notice
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Pomodoro + Goal is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
- We are not liable for any data loss resulting from browser data clearing or device issues
- We are not liable for any productivity outcomes or results from using the App
- Our total liability shall not exceed zero, as the App is provided free of charge
8. Intellectual Property
- Pomodoro + Goal, its design, code, and branding are the intellectual property of Motologic Systems
- The Pomodoro Technique was developed by Francesco Cirillo. "Pomodoro Technique" and "Pomodoro" are registered trademarks of Francesco Cirillo
- Our App is an independent implementation and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Francesco Cirillo
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by simply closing your browser tab. We reserve the right to discontinue the App at any time.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the Philippines.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
