These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Budgetly ("the App"), a personal finance application developed by Motologic Systems ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. License & Usage
Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to use Budgetly on your devices. This license is:
- Perpetual: Your one-time purchase grants lifetime access to the App, including all future updates
- Personal: The license is for your personal, non-commercial use
- Non-transferable: You may not sell, rent, sublicense, or transfer your license to another person
2. One-Time Purchase
- Budgetly is sold as a one-time purchase through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store
- Price: $2.99 USD (local pricing varies by region)
- There are no subscriptions, recurring charges, or hidden fees
- All features are included — there are no paid tiers or in-app upgrades
- Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy or Apple's refund policy
3. Your Data
- You own all data you enter into Budgetly
- All data is stored locally on your device — we cannot access it
- You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We recommend enabling Google Drive backup for data safety
- If you uninstall the App, all local data is permanently deleted

4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the App
- Redistribute the App or any part of it
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to bypass the purchase mechanism
5. Financial Disclaimer
Budgetly is a personal finance tracking tool, not a financial advisor.
- The App provides budgeting, tracking, and analytical features for informational purposes only
- We do not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice
- You are solely responsible for your financial decisions
- The insights, analytics, and wisdom content in the App are for educational and motivational purposes and should not be relied upon as professional financial guidance
- Interest calculations (including compound interest) are estimates — consult a financial professional for precise figures
6. App Availability
- Budgetly is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store
- We strive to maintain compatibility with current OS versions but cannot guarantee compatibility with all devices or future OS updates
- The App works 100% offline; internet is only required for Google Drive backup and initial download
7. Updates
- We may release updates to improve functionality, fix bugs, or add features
- All updates are included with your one-time purchase at no additional cost
- We are not obligated to provide updates indefinitely, but we aim to actively maintain the App
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Budgetly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
- We are not liable for any data loss resulting from device failure, app uninstallation, or user error
- We are not liable for any financial losses resulting from decisions made based on information displayed in the App
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App
9. Intellectual Property
- Budgetly, its design, code, branding, and content are the intellectual property of Motologic Systems
- The biblical wisdom content included in the App is sourced from publicly available Scripture translations
- "Budgetly" and the Budgetly logo are trademarks of Motologic Systems
10. Termination
- You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it
- We reserve the right to revoke your license if you violate these Terms (e.g., redistribution)
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the Philippines.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
