Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the CashFlow mobile application (the "App") operated by Motologic Systems ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Definitions
- "App" means the CashFlow mobile application available on Google Play and other distribution platforms.
- "User," "you," "your" means the individual or legal entity using the App.
- "Premium" means the paid subscription tiers (Regular and Premium) that unlock additional features.
- "Content" means all data, text, images, and materials you create, upload, or store using the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you must have consent from a parent or legal guardian.
3. Account Registration
- An account is not required to use the free version of the App. All core features work offline without registration.
- To access Regular and Premium features (cloud sync, multi-device access, shared access), you must create an account using Firebase Authentication (email/password, email link, or Google Sign-In).
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
4. Use of the App
4.1 Permitted Use
You may use the App for personal or business financial tracking purposes, including recording expenses and sales, scanning receipts, generating reports, and exporting BIR-compliant files.
4.2 Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Use the App for any illegal or fraudulent purpose, including filing false tax returns.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App, its servers, or related services.
- Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to interact with the App.
- Circumvent, disable, or tamper with security features (including Firebase App Check).
5. Content and Data Ownership
- Your Content — You retain full ownership of all data and content you create or upload to the App. We claim no intellectual property rights over your financial data, receipt images, or business information.
- License to Us — By using cloud sync, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, transmit, and display your Content solely for the purpose of providing the cloud sync and backup service to you.
- Our Content — The App, including its design, code, brand elements, and documentation, is owned by Motologic Systems and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
6. Subscription Plans
CashFlow offers three tiers:
- Freemium (₱0) — Unlimited transactions, Family & Business accounts, 10 OCR AI scans/month (+5 per rewarded ad), BIR SLSP .dat export, PDF & Excel reports, SOA & payment tracking. Ad-supported. No cloud sync or shared access.
- Regular (₱99/month) — Everything in Freemium, ad-free. 200 OCR AI scans/month, cloud sync across devices, receipts stored safely online, web access, share with family/accountant/encoder, automatic cloud backups.
- Premium (₱599/month) — Everything in Regular. 2,500 OCR AI scans/month, priority support.
- Subscriptions are managed and billed by Google Play according to their Terms of Service.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are handled per Google Play's refund policy.
- If your subscription lapses, cloud sync will stop; however, all data stored locally on your device will remain accessible.
7. Multi-User Shared Access
- Regular and Premium users may grant other registered users access to their financial data with one of three roles: Viewer (read-only), Writer (create and edit), or Admin (full access including delete).
- You are solely responsible for managing who you grant access to and at what role level.
- We are not responsible for any actions taken by users you grant access to, including data modification or deletion by Admin or Writer users.
- You may revoke access at any time from Settings → Shared Access.
8. BIR Compliance Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: The App is a financial tracking tool designed to help you organize records and generate .dat files in the Bureau of Internal Revenue's required format. However:
- We do not provide tax advice, accounting services, or legal counsel.
- The accuracy of BIR submissions depends on the accuracy of the data you enter.
- You are solely responsible for verifying the correctness and completeness of all BIR filings.
- We recommend consulting a qualified accountant or tax professional for tax compliance matters.
9. OCR and AI Features Disclaimer
- The OCR receipt scanning feature uses cloud-based AI services to extract and summarize receipt data. Results are not guaranteed to be 100% accurate.
- Receipt images are transmitted to third-party AI service providers for processing. Extracted data is returned to the App and stored locally on your device.
- AI-powered extraction and categorization provide suggestions only. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming all extracted data before saving.
- A stable internet connection is required for OCR AI features to function properly. The App works 100% offline for all other budgeting and tracking features.
10. Intellectual Property
The CashFlow name, logo, and related branding are trademarks of Motologic Systems. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
- THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
- WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
- IN NO EVENT SHALL MOTOLOGIC SYSTEMS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Motologic Systems, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
13. Termination
- You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, without prior notice.
- Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Data stored locally on your device remains yours.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the Philippines.
15. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
